Trying new makeup

Hellooo gorgeous,

Today after I finished doing my assignments for the french course, I was looking to my makeup brushes and then I remembered that recently I got new makeup products.  From my monthly subscriptions and birthday gifts. I decided to try them. And let me tell you they are amazing!!! This is the look I created today:

These are the makeup products I used to make this look:

I know it looks like a lot, but don’t worry I will explain to you I will explain to you how to use them and what they are for. Remember to always wash your face and use moisturizer before doing your makeup!

Let start with the product I use to prepare my skin before applying makeup.

After washing my face and applying moisturizer I use this two products to prepare my skin. I have oily skin so I tend to have large pores. I use first the NYX Pore Filler. This product help to minimize the appearance of pores and prep your skin for smooth makeup application. I use this one only in the areas that I tend to have large pores so that way  the product last longer. I also use Julep Blank Canvas (Mattifying Face Primer) this one also prepares your skin for a smooth makeup application and it make your makeup to last all day. I love it it doesn’t make my skin oily and make my makeup to last all day.  I love this products I am huge fan of Julep and NYX!!!

For the eye brows in this makeup I used WinkyLux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil. This eyebrow pencil it is 2-in-1 it have the eyebrow pencil in one end and on the other one a spoolie.  I just filled spares areas in my brows and brush my eyebrow with the spoolie tip. It’s amazing!!! (I received the WinkyLux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow pencil in my July BoxyCharm  monthly subscription). When I finished I applied a single coat of the essence Brow/lashes gel. I love it and I bought it at Ulta super inexpensive.

For the eyes in this makeup I used NYX Happy Birthday Eye Shadow Palette (I got this one as a birthday gift at Ulta on the month of my birthday) It’s look gorgeous right?! They are super pigmented and I am impressed with this eye shadow palette.

But before using this beautiful eye shadow palette I used the Mary Kay Eye Primer. This primer  is a waterproof formula that prepare your eyelids for a smooth application and make your eye color last all day and prevent it from creasing and smudging. I love it!!! It is suitable for sensitive skin and for contact lens wearers.(I am a Mary Kay beauty consultant, if you are interested just let me know and I will gladly help you. I will leave my website at the end of this post, just in case you are interested).  Then I applied the brown shade in my crease as a transition color. After that I used the NYX Eyeshadow Base (White) it does basically the same function as the Mary Kay Primer but I like it because when you apply the eye color after this base it make the color pop.

After I applied the NYX Eyeshadows I used the Julep Fluid Eye Glider (LIquid Eyeliner Pen Jet Black) is a water-resistant eyeliner pen and it have a precision point felt tip that makes it easy to create thin or thick lines. It dries fast!!! I used the liquid eyeliner pen to create the cat eye effect and for the rest I used the Avon Glimmerstick Waterproof Eye Liner (Black) . This eye liner is creamy and long wearing.  For my eyelashes I used the Julep lenght Matter (Buildable Lengthening Mascara) I’m in love with this mascara!!! It is always in my makeup bag. I only used one coat. This mascara have a  tapered micro-bristle brush that define your lashes for a softly curled, wide-eyed look.  After this I do my face makeup so when I apply the eyelashes the mascara is already dried.  I got this PUR Pro Eyelashes in  the August BoxyCharm Box.  This lashes are handcrafted to provide a natural look. They are cruelty-free lashes, reusable, and safe for contact wearers. I applied them with the Revlon Precision Clear Adhesive.

For the face I used this amazing concealer that I received in my August Julep Box, the Julep Cushion Complexion  (5-in-1 Skin Perfector with Turmeric) (Shade Camel) this  product has a natural, demi-matte finish and is medium-to-full coverage. It conceals, corrects, illuminates, blurs and brightens.  Then I applied the foundation I used the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Matte-Poreless, I love, love this one!!! This mattifying liquid foundation is ideal for normal to oily skin. As a setting powder to set the concealer and foundation I used the Airspun translucent loose face powder.  Then I applied the eyelashes.

For the blush I used the Julep Your Happy Look (Pore Minimizing Blush)  (shade “Rosewood“) my favorite. It help to minimizes the imperfection and is very pigmented.  For the contour I used the IBY Beauty  Highlihgt & Contour palette. Remember don’t apply too much contour so your makeup looks natural and do your contour based on your face shape.  I applied the Urban Decay Sin A Little (Or A Lot.) After Glow8-Hour Powder Highlighter (I also received this one as a birthday gift at Urban Decay online on the month of my birthday) in my chin, nose, a little bit in my forehead, a little bit in the inner corner of the eye and in my cheekbones. It is super soft, blends easily and have a duration of 8 hours. Next I am gonna show how this products shades looks.

They look amazing, I love this shades!!! And finally the lips.

For this look I used two different lipstick colors.  For the lips from left to right  (first picture in the post) I used the Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick (shade “Nudie Patootie“) is pigmented and have a matte finish. After it got dried I apply the Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick (Shade Marvelous Mocha) over the Wet n Wild lipstick. For the look in the right I used the Mark by Avon Lipclick Matte Full Color Lipstick (Shade Rebel) this lipstick contains vitamin E, jojoba oil, and safflower oil. It feels soft and is very pigmented. But because I applied over the other one shades it looks like that. ♥

And last but not least the Avon Setting Spray. This setting spray helps set your makeup in place without drying your skin and make your makeup to last all day.

This is my first time using most of this products and so far I love them all. I hope you guys enjoy this post!!!
